We Got Eggs

Ladies & Gentlemen, We got farm fresh eggs!
Even though I am 'head of domestic affairs & poultry', i'm not doing a very good job. While I was filling water and food, Jim and CMW found 4 eggs but 3 were frozen. So this means they were laid on Saturday or possibly Friday since I didn't check Saturday. Now I know, I need to start my regular check-ups, twice a day, maybe 3 times. I better get into a regular routine or i'm not going to have my farm fresh eggs that I've been longing for, for the last 5 months.
I'll let y'all know if we really have an explosion around here of eggs or if the cold winter months are getting the best of our chickens. Until then, wish me luck pick'n my eggs.

Yay for fresh farm eggs!!! Was it tasty? :)

We got two AMAZING packages today! Guess who they were from?!?!?! Thank you soooo much for all the goodies - we love every single thing and treasure it all. And the special things you sent are still very much needed, so no need to worry about that! I think they may have been here in Indo for awhile, but b/c our mail comes to the school and it's been closed for 2 1/2 weeks, we didn't get them until today.

Love you, and thanks again!!!

Well that is good! I was told it might take up to 16 days after it gets out of the US. So good, good! That egg was tasty and i've gotten 2 more since. :-)

Yay for the eggs! Do you have your perfect omelette recipe ready to go? :)

Sonja - I don't have the perfect omelette recipe but I do have one I like to cook. I cook the green peppers, meat, maybe a tomato and cheese while i'm cooking the eggs and then everything is hot, fold the egg in half with the goodies inside and waa-laa. It's delicious!!!!! I might just have to put that on the menu for lunch or dinner next week. :-) Love you hun & miss you! Lexer ><>
